Values & ethical commitments
My core values and ethical commitments shape how I show up and how I serve.
As someone who seeks to live simply, authentically and in deep value-alignment, I will consistently prioritise being present as a vulnerable, responsible, interdependent human being over maintaining a polished corporate image.
Core Values:
Honesty | Integrity | Transparency | Openness | Sustainability | Compassion
Professional Standards: I uphold the professional standards outlined by the ICF Code of Ethics. As a Professional member of the Career Development Association of Australia (CDAA) I am bound by their Member Standards and Ethics. These commitments include respect, confidentiality, professionalism, ongoing professional development, disclosure of conflicts of interest and referring clients on to more suitable practitioners as may become necessary.
Finance: Echo Coaching is not currently registered for GST. As an expression of my commitment to the Sufficiency Economy, I voluntarily cap my business income at $75,000 per year. My business banking is with Bank Australia and my superannuation is invested with Future Super (both Certified B Corporations). Twenty percent of annual business profits are donated to Australian NFP’s that are working to secure a more just and environmentally sustainable world.
Environment: Work is predominantly conducted from my home-based office on Bunarong land, in Melbourne’s South East. My electricity is 100% government accredited green power purchased through CoPower. I prioritise environmentally friendly, renewable, recycled and/or recyclable products, endeavour to minimise household use of fossil gas, petrol and paper and other packaging, and offset any residual emissions with Greenfleet. I also regularly have my hands deep in the earth, for my mental health and in an effort to grow at least some of my own food!
